Kasama District is located in the Northern Province of Zambia at approximately 852km away from the capital city (Lusaka). The district has a total land area of approximately 10,788 square kilometres. The district is both urban and rural with two constituencies namely Lukashya Constituency and Kasama Central Constituency.
The total population of the district is at 348,552 which is segregated as 158,051 in Kasama Central and 190,501 in Lukashya constituency. This is further be divided between male and female as 170,168 males and 178,384 females.
We have two heritage sites, the Chishimba falls and the Mwela rocks sites. The home of Kasama Sugar and Kateshi coffee, one of the biggest producers of our national coffee exports.
